1. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address, display name (required for registration)
• Authentication data via Google or Apple Sign-In (if you choose those options when available)

Shopping Data

• Shopping lists and items you create
• Price comparison results
• Favorite products and price alerts
• Budget and savings tracking data

Device & Usage Data

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Basic error diagnostics (anonymous)

Location Data

• Your approximate location (only when you grant permission) to show nearby stores and calculate distances
• We do not track your location in the background

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide price comparison and savings features
• To personalize your experience (preferred stores, dietary filters, language)
• To provide customer support

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following services that may process your data to deliver core functionality:

• Supabase — hosts your account, shopping lists, and authentication. Data is stored in accordance with Supabase's privacy practices (supabase.com/privacy).
• Expo — our app framework; used for app builds and over-the-air updates. See expo.dev/privacy.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking services. Any future service additions will be reflected in an update to this policy.

4. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete Account
• Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days
• Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be retained

5. Data Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
• Database access is protected by Row Level Security policies
• We do not sell your data to third parties

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your shopping lists and savings data
• Opt out of push notifications

7. Children's Privacy

OneLyst is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification.
